Located in Litchfield County on the border between New Preston and Kent, Connecticut, Fair Oak Farm is a family-run farm that hosts a weekend farm stand. We use the best practices of sustainable agriculture and certified organic products to grow produce, including tomatoes, veggies, herbs, and flowers— as sell fresh eggs from our organically-fed hens to stock our self-serve farm stand and donate food to the local food bank.

Welcome To Fair Oak Farm
We cultivate our soil with certified organic products, including compost and mulch that we create here. When we buy seeds and soil amendments, we do so from trusted sustainable businesses like New England Compost, High Mowing Organic Seeds, Johnny’s Selected Seeds,
and Coast of Maine.
We are members of the Connecticut Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) and are a Certified Wildlife Habitat® site with the National Wildlife Federation, which means we have created sanctuary spaces for wildlife on our property. We have joined the Purple Martin Conservation Association and we also support the UCONN Master Gardener programs.
